a few years back had an AWESOME 'gator hunt in FL. My brothers had heads mounted professionally, and i tried my hand "mounting" or at least drying and preserving one of the smaller (10 footer) heads.

it was pretty easy and straight forward, and actually turned out really good. it has sat on the shelf, handled often, and is in good shape now after ~5 years.
