So I want to buy a dedicated coyote gun. I know I want a 22 250. I don't really need a bull barrel becuse it a coyote gun. The problem is I don't know what gun to buy. I prefer wood over laminate but up for suggestions. Most shots would be under 300 yards but would like to be able to shoot 500 if needed.
Howa 1500 Lightweight, they can be had for around $350-400, then spend the remainder of your budget on ammo and a quality scope.
Just saw you want wood tho...the Howa isn't much help in that regard.
