I took the course when I was 15 (1980). As I recall, it was six hours spread over two days. I took the bowhunting class about ten years later. That class was about 10 or 12 hours including field shooting, treestand safety, and a realistic tracking excercise.

Both classes were great, I remember and or use stuff I learned everytime I go hunting
