This is all about when you leave your stand on public land. Law says it's supposed to be taken out with you every time you leave. Leave nothing there. But what about when you're hunting on private property and your stands are stolen. I left my stands out on private property and they were stolen in the off season. Does that rule of "if it's left out there, it's fair game" still apply. I don't think so.
