Default Offshore tuna run

The Yellowfin tuna (Ahi) have been around and it's been great. Yesterday, I friend and I went out past the HH buoy (straight south of Pearl Harbor) to 1,000-1,500fm to chase some birds and the fish under them.

At 7:30am, we had a double hook-up of 2 100# class Yellowfins. It took is 30mins to boat the first, and another hour to get the second one in. He fought hard for 80mins, and went deep and died with 300+ yds of line out.

This is the second ahi. My friend is gutting the fish. We sold this guy and made our costs back. The other one ended up in our fridges!
