I personally have tried a almost all brands, and found most all cheaper cams are HIT or MISS, you either get a good one or don't.
the HIGH end cam's seem to be more consistent on workings, but then again, they costs a LOT and should ??
I have never had any luck with moultrie camera's have any speed to there wake up times, but admit haven;t had any of there newest gen cam's
I did a few test having a moultrie cam and another brand and the moultrie would get about half the amount of pic's as other cams
they lasted a LONG time and did work and still working now, but just missed a LOT of things, so cam placement was a big key for me using there cam's
needed longer times of when critters would be in front of them to get a pic!
there are many sites out there do trail cam testing and list wake up times and such, do a search and look, ,lots of other good info with these testings!
all depends on your budget and what you call GOOD trail cam! Reconix I think are about tops and there prices show it! same with Buckeye cams
can always buy what's on sale and HOPE, many get lucky some don't, so heads up!
