If we look at the velocities from Grouse's post we see that the 240gr lost over 400fps at 100 yards. Ron's 50gr load is probably not a heckuva lot slower than it would be at roughly 150 yards. More or less its a good representation of how it will react at that distance.

Its pretty safe to assume any load a ML can achieve will not be enough for a controlled fracturing bullet to lose more weight than Ron's test....Obviously its not lead we are talking about or a expanding bullet design.
