Shot placement is key on the big ones. You should head shoot them all. Perfect placement is directly below the ear, right in the middle of the head. Don't get cute and try to shoot the brain, just middle of head, any angle. On head shots you can shoot any caliber. Body shots, I'd recommend above 25 caliber and durable bullets.
This video is a bowhunting shot placement tutorial, but the pigs anatomy is still "weird" if you body shoot them, follow the same advice here - quartering away. Do NOT shoot behind the crease.
