Default Old west ballistics

So I was wondering about how powerful the revolvers of the old west were. I know there were a few real popular calibers such as .32-30, .45 & .41 Colt. So I imagine the powder was less powerful than what we have today and bullets were probably a more crude casting.

So does anyone know what kind of fps the old guns delivered? I couldn't find anything online.
