RE: bow cases pros and cons
I've used SKB cases for years with live sound equipment. They take a beating. When I saw they made a bow case I knew it was the one- I now own 3 of them.
I never like to put my bow in a soft case. You spend all that time in set up and tuning, and then to have a chance at bumping a rest mount or sight pin if the rig gets banged while in a soft case.... No thanks. Even though they can be bulky and heavy, I'll take the security and peace of mind knowing my righ is protected very well in a hard case.
