That is really close to the weather pattern we had out here also. We are in the mid 30's all week

Now for Sabotloader. Is that .45 caliber muzzle loader legal for say elk and deer in Idaho? During muzzle loader season? That sure is a good shooting gun. I would say with the kind of hot peppers you load under that bullet it would sure get the job done.

No we can not use it for elk during ML but yes for deer during ML season shooting a full bore lead conical.

I was watching a show today about Colorado Elk Hunting. It was muzzle loader season. And a fellow was up in a tree with an open sighted, what looked like a T/C Omega. And in come a big bull. The guide told him it was a shooter, and as the bull turned he cut loose. One shot and down it went. Lots of high fives, etc. They got up to the bull (it was a monster) and the guide says, you shot it in the neck! Is that were you were aiming? The the shooter said .... Ohmm, no. I was aiming behind the shoulder. 35 yards away. Do you think he had elk fever? It was a heck of a bull!

I really hate to say this but back a few decades ago I can relate to that tale...
