RE: What broadheads are recommended
My broadheads and target points hit exactly the same place but it takes some work paper tuning. Go to a paper tuning guide and follow the directions. A word of caution; some of the tuning guides have the fix for a left/right tear reversed. If your tear shows that the tail end of the arrow is hitting to the right of the point you must move the rest [ if it' s a shoot through/drop-away ] to the right and vice-verca. Your moving the front of the arrow to line up with the back, just the opposite of what you do with an up/down tear which is to move the back of the arrow [ the nock ] to line up with the front. Also you need to check your F.O.C. Too far forward or back with this and your arrows won' t fly for squat. My set-up is about 85 F.O.C. which is a little back for some folks but works fine for me @ 300 F.P.S. ACC shaft' s, G5 Montec broadheads.
