The only negative about the Trad flinters is their lock isn,t nearly as heavily designed and rugged as the the other makes.Just look at the weak main spring for example.
Most of them will fire off the pan powder ok. It's getting the main charge to go off that's the problem. I had a Jim Chambers White Lightning vent liner installed in my GPR and it made a world of difference. It fires every time now and damn near as fast as a caplock.
I'm confident enough to use it for bear hunting now.
