Some will never get it because they don't want to, really. Their interaction on the conversation is merely to reinforce that fact to themselves. It's like someone talking to you in a foreign language. You don't get it and don't want to get it, so you dismiss that as a defense mechanism.

I would love to hear if any of you guys also share similar views.....

That can easily be dismissed by the # of people here on this site with you. The sheer amount of members here should reinforce the fact that what we do is really quite normal. If anything is weird, it's the fact that some people have lost their innate instincts and have become overly domesticated. Happy hunting!
