I would imagine it has something to do with the sponsorship. Your average sit-com is actually about 22 minutes long after you take out commercials. I am guessing (I haven' t timed it yet) but I doubt you get much more than 15 minutes of hunting on those shows. Don' t get me wrong, I love and watch them everytime the wife leaves the room! But there is a lot of commercialism in every episode.

Now the question is: How do I become a host?
