It' s actually pretty simple. It' s the entertainment industry. They sell advertisement on their shows or the movies they sell. That alone pays the wages of many of them.

A tremendous amount of the hunts are " in kind" trades for advertisement.

Lastly, many of the shows are made by those already in the industry and probably work for the show' s sponsors...such as the Primos guys.
