i tell you what, i' ve been deer hunting for 16 years now and i get more excited every year. does it ever go away?? i' m even more excited this year because i' ve been seeing a ton of HUGE bucks running in and around the woods that i have hunted since i was 12. growing up (when my place of residents was just a place to go camping), we never saw bucks of this size. people who knew the vacinity would say " yea there' s a ton of deer up there, but they' re mountain deer....don' t get very big" , well i don' t think they are getting any bigger, i think that those people including myself really didn' t know where and how to hunt for the big boys. most of the campers that come here from the pittsburgh area still think there isn' t any BIG deer up here in warren county, pennsylvania. i let them think that, but since i live here now, i have the privilage to scout all year round...........and there are some big deer here!!!
