What were your intentions for the 257wby? deer? elk? everything?

both are quality rounds I think.

not sure most need either or will use them to their potential hunting in most circumstances.

It's funny how after you buy a car etc... a gun, you see it on sale a week later... haha, but oh well that's life, not really a big deal,

I think if you need more gun than the .257wby, I'd look toward something like the 300wby or 340wby which IMO may be the best wby round. 225@3100fps TSX.

not sure it's much but based on the 300wby case is the 6.5, so I assume the kick is increased.
