I bought a 257 Wby because it was one of the flattest shooters out there. After reading the velocity claims of the 6.5-300wby I should have waited. They claim a 127Barnes LRX at 3600fps With a BC of .470 that will be a flat shooter. Plus you will have the added knock down power at long range.
So has anybody got one or given this cartrage any thought It was used back in the 70's for 1000yd shooting but then died out.
