Hunt safe and hunt with someone with experience. Whoever told you that "girls shouldn't hunt" needs to be introduced to my daughters. My oldest one especially would like to "educate" those people that doubt the tenacity of a huntress But like ANY new hunter, male or female, you need to go out with experienced hunters the first few times to get acclimated as well as educated properly. Georgia is loaded with deer as well as hogs (something you should get into hunting as well) so seeing whitetail shouldn't be too awful hard.
