I know a bunch of folks that buy that American Eagle ammo by the case in 9mm. I reload and other than a box or 2 of new pistol ammo every now and again for testing for various folks, I haven't bought factory in many many moons. I do notice sales trends though and I often see various federal pistol ammo on sale for pretty good prices on Midway.
As far as worst ammo goes, Tula (in any cartridge), Bear (same), and that Blazer stuff with the Aluminium case. That stuff is TOTAL garbage. Whoever thought aluminium cartridges was a good idea must have gotten the idea smashed into their heads by an aluminum bat!
