Handload. Ammo is much cheaper when you roll your own. You can buy bullets like the Hornady GMX (lead free bullets) from someplace like Midway for less than 60 cents each. Add in a primer, some powder, some case lube and a fired brass and you have a round for less than 80 cents.

The only factory centerfire ammo I use anymore is the Seller & Bellot 131 gr load for my 6.5x55 Swedish. I can't beat it with any handload and several years ago Natchez had a sale on it and I laid in a bunch at less than $9 a box. But I keep the brass so after it runs out I'll handload that as well.
