A suggestion: after things get settled with the insurance company you and your wife get away for a weekend. A local resort, hotel, casino, etc., is good for this. No doubt both of you could use a break.

Funny you should say that Robert. We had smoke damage in the house so the homeowner's insurance told us we could stay in a hotel to a week while the air scrubbers did their thing. Our granddaughter asked if she could come along. I told her no because it would be like a second honeymoon for us. She said "yeah, like she'd marry YOU again." Only 9 years old and she knows me already....lol
Well she did end up coming up with us for a night on the weekend.

On a side note, we got the business with the vehicle insurance all finalized but we're waiting on estimates for the house reconstruction and cleaning to come in.
