I have used a lot of ATV implements for farming/food plot
the first question I will ask is how big an atv do you have?
the main reason is, any decent disc worth your time will be heavy, and I mean 350+ lbs heavy, and that will mean you need a good sized atv to pull it
500 cc or bigger
and its still going to work your atv VERY hard
NOW I tell a LOT of folks this
atv's can do food plots, I have done plots as large as 2 acres with mine
but the amount of seat time, and abuse you put on your atv and the fact atv implements cost many times more than older tractor implements do
the WAY better route to go is BUY a small old tractor, like a IGH model H< a Ford 8n or the likes
they can be had for a about a grand, a good atv disc will cost close to this!
a decent 8 ft drag behind dis for use behind the tractor will run you about 500-800 bucks
and will do 5 times the work in half the time, and not break a sweat or kill your several thousand dollar atv in the process
I just sold a nice H for a grand and have a disc fully rebuild for 700
have seen tons of these tractor go for under a grand and they work, great, they were built to last , made HEAVY, parts are every where, simple, to upkeep and run forever with simple care
mine was a 1949 model, purred like brand new, weighted in at almost 4,000 lbs, pulled my 8 ft disc NO problem

SO
if your still set on an atv disc
again BUY one that is heavy, has slotted blades, and adjustable cut/angle

been building food plots since the late 80's
averaged about 16 acres of plots a yr, from very remote to larger fields, and part time farmer for 30+ yrs

again, best advice, BUY a older tractor and save the abuse on your atv, us it for recovering deer, spraying plots adding fertilizer, but dragging a disc is way HARD on it
