There is no doubt the thors are probably the toughest bullet out there and if you can get them and they shoot good from your gun, they are a great bullets. But for availability and cost you can't beat the 350 gr Hornady FPB. I have put 4 elk down with them and they are noticeably cheaper than thors. They fly flat and straight in my guns. My current elk load is 90-95 gr BH 209 and the 350 FPB.
Especially with Thors, be sure you have a good supply before August, because they can run out for the season.
