I've had several Jake, still have a couple in damn near pristine condition never issued. But I've just never really liked them as far as the feel and to be honest, since there were like close to 40 million of them made, the resale value, even the more rarefied M91/30 sniper, is pretty much bottom class. Fairly rugged rifle though and, with a little love to it, you can make a pretty decent rifle off a 91 action. The bolt has more in common to an Enfield than a Mauser and my own personal preference is the flat out raw strength of the Mauser action.
