I would run the 6.5x284 over either -06 based 6.5mm's, for the simple fact that there is GOOD factory ammo available for BOTH hunting and target shooting.

With that said, my 6.5x284 went away and is getting rebarreled into a .270 win...lol

But, a 240 Weatherby or 22x284 were my close 2nd choices and it may end up being one of those two if I can't find the .270 barrel I want pretty soon.
