I too would let knight do it. If it comes back to you and still has a bit of blow back then I would shim it. I shimmed my TC's (both ML'er barrel and CF barrels, different type of shimming) and it's not a difficult job at all. Just a matter of measuring twice and working once. As far as you not wanting to use a lead sled for shooting, you couldn't be more correct. Rifle stocks are designed with the human shoulder in mind. The lead sled doesn't move, thereby not absorbing the recoil, and puts unintended stress on the stock tang. I've seen several rifle stocks split at the tang from people using those infernal sleds.
