I don't think the grease you used will be a problem in the cold. If you want to find out, put your lock in your freezer for awhile then take it out and check it. It's not like you used wheel bearing grease...

My post was not wether the grease would be ok in the cold temperature it was about the difference the grease made in my trigger pull weight compared to rem-oil. That would be a issue in a cold weather hunting situation that I am not concerned with now. Muley brought the cold issue up. Thanks bps !
