If a guy were looking to step up to a better custom recurve after having sold his old childhood Bear recurves, what would the experienced stick shooters on this forum recommend he look at? I'm looking for a 62" recurve for my 31.5" drawlength and was hoping I could get some suggestions on bowyers or specific recurves made by bowyers. I know the Checkmates are loved by the community here, but I was hoping for some other good suggestions on smooth and quiet shooting recurves. Bob Lee and Wes Wallace have two bows that have caught my eye at this point. Are they good shooters? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
