Here' s the story on the Renegade: It' s a buautiful .54 cal. percussion rifle that I bought as a teenager in the late ' 80' s. The last time that I cleaned it, a brush broke off at the breach end.

I went to college, quit hunting and now, 13 years later, I want to hunt again! I managed to get the brush out, but it' s anybody' s guess what kind of damage has occurred. I thought about buying a new barrel, and I wanted a scope too. But instead, I decided spend the money on a new inline gun.
From what I can tell, new Renegades sell for $400 (correct me if I' m wrong). So, take off $175 for a new barrel, $50 because it is used and everyone likes a deal, then I guess I would take $175 for the gun, or $190 for the gun with about 50 round balls, 30 maxiballs, some caps, and a capping tool thrown in.
If I' m way out of line in my logic here, please let me know so if I sell it locally, an honest deal gets done
