Hey Daniel, welcome to the HNI. Some people here are definitely able to help, but we need a little more info from you. Also, we need to know that what you're doing is legal. We're all hunters, fishers and outdoorsman who are passionate about our lifestyle and part of that is being legal. If everyone breaks the law, then eventually there would be no more "outdoor lifestyle" for anybody. This applies to private land as well. If every private land owner chose how to manage their own game and chose what laws they would follow or not follow, then there wouldn't be much game left unfortunately. CHeck your laws, and let us know.

Here's a few things you should look into:
1) Check what the "seasons" are for what you are hunting. Many rabbit seasons end in February, March. But I have no idea what your seasons are. Check to make sure that rabbit is currently in season.
2) Check what equipment is allowed to be used. In many places for rabbit you will be limited to certain firearms and bows. Allot of places do not allow snaring or trapping of rabbits. But again, I do not know your local laws and you may be perfectly legal.

Check these few things out. If you made a mistake and were breaking the law, don't do it anymore. It's not worth the fines you could end up with. It also is unethical and not good for the game population and makes hunters look bad. But if your legal and still need your questions answered let us know. Hope you enjoy HNI and stick around for a while.
