I too learned a couple things from this post. Sometimes the simpliest things get blown out of proportion. I know this after 42 years of marriage. It is especially true when two old foggies start butting heads. It came to light through PM that both of us were probably saying the same thing but neither one of us understood or couldn't see what the other was saying.
I realize now that the best way to deal with this is via PM and not tie up a thread.
