Blued with hardwood stock, bluing is 90%, 22 inch bull barrel, bore is shiney there is no rear sight or scope bases, hammer and nipple/breechplug are in great shape(stainless). This gun takes a #11 cap which is all you need. It will shoot triple seven powder with no "crud ring" an no swabbing between shots. Very accurate, simple rifle.
