lone you might should reconsider such a move. A musket cap burns 700 degrees hotter than a #11. Caps, muskets and primers are no different than anyother manufactured product, ever once in awhile you might pick up a bad one. Misfires happen with 209s as well. Make sure your nipple/breechplug is SPOTLESS and dont give up based on one misfire. The muskets are MUCH better than the 11s ESPECIALLY when you start talking about blackpowder substitutes and pellets.
