Yep, I've seen folks use 3F Swiss for flash pan powder and damned if it didn't work!! But most use 3F Swiss for pistol work. I sometimes use a 3F combo mix ( not going to say what I combine it with since some on here may want to try it and it is in no way something I would recommend ANYONE other than an expert in black powder cartridge loading to even think about, let alone do ) in my big bore BP cartridge guns.
