Fugg a stupid "break" (actually brake). I hate 'em.

Facts:
- Rifle stock design matters a bunch
- weight of the rifle matters a bunch
- 270 (my favorite) burns 10% more powder to drive a 150 grain bullet about 250 fps faster than a 308 with a 150.
- The animal killed will not know the difference.
- 270 has a BC advantage so retains velocity and drifts less at distance, given equal bullet weight.
- Your shoulder will not know the difference given equal weight and stock design.
- Reduced recoil loads are available for both.
- I like short actions
- I own more 308s than 270s.
