If you have ever had a froze plug on ANY MLer then you won't go without lubing your BP threads no matter what powder you are shooting. That's if you have any sense anyway. Them suckers are ROUGH to put it mildly. Hell I'd probably lube a MLer BP thread even shooting smokeless! It's not like it costs more than a couple penny's to do and a couple seconds. To me the "no lube needed" advertisement is flat stupid and asking for a seized BP.
