I'm thinking those cross braces he put in function more as a stop for the bag rather than additional bracing. You know, keeping the bag from swinging too much from impact. Makes for a faster recovery for a stationary target.

That's also what I figured they were probably for, but I'm wondering if a carbon arrow hitting one of those will be damaged in any way and why I made that post.
