fiasco?
You've spent so much time on here with a simple issue, you could have gone through 100 rifles by now, installing new plugs with a pipe wrench!
Its a very simple process.
Remove the barrel, install that new plug, use a pipe wrench or vice grips, clamp down, seat breech plug tightly, back it out, use fingers to snug it with the barrel and you are finished. This all takes you less than 2 minutes, And I only told you to remove the barrel from the stock so you don't hit the stock if you slip.
