Exactly, that's why I would never use those unless the laws said so. I don't think game should suffer because a few want to use primitive everything. But the law shouldn't keep those primitive guys from doing what they want either as long as its ethical.
But primitive to me is a Flintlock and Bow. Number 11's and 209 primers for ignition are not primitive by any means. I think Pa is great, they have a primitive season and its a great time to hunt. If you don't like it, don't hunt that season.

I feel every one should use the best possible bullet on game they can by law.. If its PRB season, I feel they should use the best roundball and maybe even caliber to harvest game with a PRB. I also think people should use the best rifle bullet they can in rifle season.
Maybe you'll understand this better. If its primitive season, I think you should find the best bullet a loud by law and use it. If you wanna use a PRB, spend the time and use the one that's best on the particular game you are going after.
If I had to go back to using PRB'S I would buy atleast a 54cal Muzzleloader from what I learned from members on this board. Ive shot plenty with a 50cal, and I don't want that aggravation anymore.
