I can't help you on those other than, yes...you would need lube typically on a full bore conical. There are alot of folks here that cast, I'm sure they will answer your questions.

If I had a .52 I'd look at the 350gr Bloodlines. With a modest load those things would be devastating on about anything out there in North America. That is assuming you can shoot saboted bullets.
