Depends on if your hunting spot is east of where you parked the truck and your shooting lanes are east of your hunting spot. Then the deer could smell you as you walk in and while you hunt. If there was no where else to go it still wouldn't stop me. I keep my clothes and gear in plastic bags in plastic totes in a dedicated building that isn't used for anything but hunting storage. Sometimes I get lucky when the wind is against me, like a distracted rutting buck or some unpressured does. Hunting is so much fun so don't make reasons not to go!
