Going to have to hunt horseback next year myself wherever I end up Elk hunting. Knee wont hold up to long hikes from what the doc is telling me. Maybe a mile or 2 over rough terrain but not with a pack or humping meat out. Unless I take a couple of my boys with me to pack
I'm not convinced a horse could go were we go. Pretty rough terrain, and a lot of downed trees.
