I know about the bullet/seating depth problem with this cartridge and the short action. And looking at the ballistics - they aren't too impressive.
You'd be better off with a 6.5x284. This was a wildcat that a few makers now offer. Or you could do what I do and get a good modern 6.5x55 and load it. Factory loads for the Swede are generally not loaded to the round's full capability due to the number of old worn out military rifles chambered for it. When properly handloaded the Swede is a great round!
