Just got the Jeep all packed up like a sardine can. 3 of us have new mexico buck tags for muzzy season. Should be an interesting hunt with the new guy I am taking out with me. We decided to give it an honest 3-4 days of horn hunting because we take whatever is legal that has a forked horn.

Im leavin my 58 hawken behind on this trip. I know, sad! Super sad, I just didn't have time to sight in with my new powder, but I got the V2 Accura all set up with it and shooting tight, so hopefully a nice buck will let me stick a fork into him this winter

Thank god I bought a folding deer cart! It was a challenge getting it into the jeep folded up the way it is, but with a little wiggle here and there, I got the thing in, along with a cooler for drinks and food.

I'll have my lap top with me, so I can give updates if anything fun happens.

You all behave! Hunt starts this sunday so today is a get the gear ready day and go scouting.
