I got kicked by a frog once 6 months after I shot him with my frog killing 58 cal. It was kinds a funny threw his hind legs in the cast iron skillet and he tried to jump out. I have seen a few turkeys get resurrected and have heard tells of deer getting up and running off after being shot dead. May it was just an involuntary muscle twitch that made'em get up and rundoft however, I don't have any direct experience..... Nope wait a minute I do have an experience on a Wounded Warrior deer hunt in Milan , TN I shot small buck at 70 yds and when I finically got to where I shot him in an open cotton field he wasn't there. Found him a 100 yds down the field. I believe I have seen enough death to say animals including humans can and do have involuntary muscle twitch even after death. I can't say that it happens days after the death but I am sure we can agree if the head of a chicken is cutoff then it's dead but it still flops... Just my 1 cent worth of opinion...
