as another reason not to use a tree stand in frigid weather. I'm not sold on using a harness covered by clothing, but I've long been not sold on using a tree stand in frigid weather.
I found tree stands useful in warmer weather, but some disadvantage in colder weather.
I'd still wonder about using some "safety equipment" covered up by a sweater and a parka. I hunt south now, so it may not come up for me.
