Superstrike:
With your craft's capabilities, there are plenty of places open to you.
As for flying I am not a pilot, though I have spent so many hours in the air you'de think qualify
I'm in the Wasilla are. Spend a lot of time at Lake Hood though, because my wife works righ there in the DOT building (looks like a giant spider).
In calculating your distances, you give me a radius (from lake hood) that you are comfortable with, and I'll find you a couple of good options. It may be best to do some scouting trips just before making a decision, if you have the time, but I can definately get you into some good areas.
Why don't you drop me an e-mail, so we can discuss more info. Also, I can quickly i.d. any area that you are talking about if you can give me a lat/long, or UTM location.
Do you have Garmin's MapSource software?
