I was misinformed and the thread I read was at castboolits.gunloads board. Yesterday I replied and showed them the Michigan Firearms PDF on 35 caliber limitations I read, a long ways-off from 45 caliber. One guy then replied saying his regulations book was from 1988...... lol..... OMG.
So now I gotz' to crawl back under my basement steps and get that big size 13 shoebox full of 40 and 44 caliber bullets back out again. I'm getting dizzy from going back & forth and back & forth for the past week packing and unpacking bullets.
Wait! I need to unpack and repack plastic sabots now too. This has been a big hassle and no thanks to that castboolits board.
My load for the Omega is all set now. It's 90 gr BH209 and 200 gr 50/40 SST. My Knight was a 300 gr. 44-cal XTP. But I will try-out these 200 gr. 45-cal FTXs at the range, along with the highly rated 44-cal XTPs in 200 grain..... then go from there.
